Welcome to the website of Pregnancy Help Center (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, services, or communication tools, including text messaging and video communication platforms, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
USE OF OUR SERVICES
Pregnancy Help Center provides a range of services, which may include evidence-based education, supportive services, limited medical services, and referrals. Some services are provided in person, while others may be provided through electronic communication tools, including messaging and video platforms.
Your use of our website and services is voluntary.
ELIGIBILITY AND USE BY MINORS
Our services are available to individuals of all ages.
Under California law, minors may consent to certain services, including pregnancy-related services and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Pregnancy Help Center provides these services in accordance with applicable laws.
If you are a minor, you are encouraged, when safe and appropriate, to involve a parent, guardian, or other trusted adult in your care decisions. In limited situations, we may follow additional legal requirements depending on the type of services provided.
By using our website or services, you agree to provide accurate information, including your age where relevant.
NON-EMERGENCY SERVICES
Our services are not intended for emergency medical or psychiatric situations.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency:
- Call 911 immediately, or
- Go to the nearest emergency room, or
- For mental health crises, you may call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (available 24/7).
You can reach the 988 Lifeline by dialing 988 or texting 988 directly from your phone. You can also use the chat option at 988lifeline.org.
MEDICAL AND NON-MEDICAL SERVICES
Our center provides both medical and non-medical services.
- Non-medical services may include evidence-based education, options consultations, and guidance or referrals. These services may be provided by trained staff or volunteers and are supportive and informational in nature.
- Medical services, where provided, are delivered by licensed healthcare professionals, who may serve as staff or volunteers, within the scope of their licensure.
Provider-Patient Relationship:
Use of our website, messaging tools, or video communication platforms does not automatically establish a provider-patient relationship. A limited provider-patient relationship may be established with a licensed medical professional once appropriate consent is obtained and services are initiated, subject to the scope of care outlined in our protocols.
Scope of Advice and Guidance:
- Information provided through our website or through electronic communications by non-medical staff or volunteers is for educational and supportive purposes and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Once you have provided appropriate consent, licensed nurses may provide limited nursing advice through electronic communications. These interactions are limited in scope and do not include diagnosis or the performance of medical procedures.
- Medical services, including pregnancy testing, STI testing and treatment, and limited ultrasound exams, are provided in person. Ultrasound exams are limited in scope and are used to:
- Confirm the presence of an intrauterine pregnancy
- Detect cardiac activity
- Estimate gestational age
Ultrasound exams are reviewed by our Medical Director for interpretation

While we are committed to providing compassionate care, evidence-based education, and supportive services, we do not guarantee any specific outcomes as a result of using our services.
Individual situations vary, and decisions regarding health, pregnancy, or related matters are personal and may involve factors beyond our control.
