We know you have questions, and we will try to answer them. If you don’t see your question here, please contact us.

Experts recommend waiting until the day your period should start before you test. Waiting a day or two longer guarantees a more accurate result.

All our services are free, including pregnancy testing, STI testing, and limited obstetric ultrasound exams.

We provide urine testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea. We also offer treatment for chlamydia and referrals for gonorrhea treatment. We can refer you for HIV and other tests and/or treatment if necessary.

The first step is to make an appointment for free pregnancy testing. If your test is positive, a registered nurse will determine if you qualify for an ultrasound. Ultrasound is done to verify a viable pregnancy. You may receive only one ultrasound exam.

We’re a licensed medical clinic, and our Medical Director is a licensed Obstetrician/Gynecologist. If you are coming in for Pregnancy and/or STI testing, you will be seen by a Registered Nurse (RN). If you have a positive pregnancy test here at the clinic and don’t have insurance, you may qualify to receive a free, limited ultrasound exam. The ultrasound exam is performed by an RN, and a doctor reviews the images and confirms the pregnancy. You must be at least six weeks pregnant.

Our client advocates can listen to your feelings and concerns about your pregnancy. We do not provide professional counseling services but can refer you to outside professional counselors, including post-abortion counseling if needed.

At the Pregnancy Help Center, we do not perform or refer for abortions. We do provide evidence-based information about abortion procedures, side effects, and potential risks.

Yes. Appointments are required for STI testing and we strongly suggest you make an appointment for pregnancy testing. You can call the clinic at (310) 787-4357 or request an appointment on this site. Please note that your appointment isn’t confirmed until you’ve received a confirmation text, phone call, or email from us.

Plan on a minimum of 45 minutes. STI testing can be done at the same time as pregnancy testing. When we confirm your appointment, we’ll give you instructions to prepare for your testing.

Some symptoms of early pregnancy may include a missed period, nausea and morning sickness, swollen or tender breasts, and fatigue. Learn more here.

The Registered Nurse will give you your pregnancy test results immediately. STI test results are usually available within seven days or less. You can call us for your results or you can give us permission to be called by an RN with your results.

Some potential side effects may include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and cramping, dizziness, fatigue, spotting and bleeding.
